Ethernet Alliance

The Ethernet Alliance promotes industry awareness, acceptance, and advancement of technology and products based on both existing and emerging IEEE 802 Ethernet standards and their management.


InfiniBand Trade Association

Founded in 1999, the InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) is comprised of leading vendors. In the past 12 months all major system vendors have announced InfiniBand products and hundreds of products have completed interoperability testing and are commercially available.



IMAPS is dedicated to the advancement and growth of microelectronics and electronics packaging technologies through professional education. IMAPS’s portfolio of technologies is disseminated through symposia, conferences, workshops, professional development courses, and other efforts. IMAPS currently has more than 4,000 members in the United States and more than 4,000 international members around the world.



IPC is a global trade association dedicated to the competitive excellence of its 2,400 member companies which represent all facets of the electronics interconnect industry, including design, printed circuit board manufacturing, and electronics assembly.



JEDEC is the leading developer of standards for the solid-state industry. Almost 2900 participants, appointed by some 280 companies work together in 50 JEDEC committees to meet the needs of every segment of the industry, manufacturers, and consumers alike. The publications and standards that they generate are accepted throughout the world. All JEDEC standards are available online, at no charge.



MEPTEC is a trade association of semiconductor suppliers and manufacturers, committed to enhancing the competitiveness of the back-end portion of the semiconductor business. Since its inception over 25 years ago, MEPTEC has provided a forum for semiconductor packaging and test professionals to learn and exchange ideas that relate to assembly, test and handling.



Formed in 1992, the PCI-SIG is the industry organization chartered to develop and manage the PCI standard. With over 900 members, the PCI-SIG effectively places ownership and management of the PCI specifications in the hands of the developer community.



PICMG is a consortium of over 450 companies who collaboratively develop open specifications for high performance telecommunications and industrial computing applications. The members of the consortium have a long history of developing leading edge products for these industries.


PC/104 Embedded Consortium

A group of over 75 members worldwide who have joined together to establish and maintain standards and disseminate information about PC/104 and other small form factors to manufacturers and users, as well as to provide a liaison function between the PC/104 community and other standard organizations.


RapidIO Trade Association

RapidIO technology is an established, scalable, packet-switched, high-performance fabric specifically developed to address the needs of equipment designers in the wireless infrastructure, edge networking, storage, scientific, military and industrial markets. Under active development since June 1997, the RapidIO standard represents continued commitment of the RapidIO Trade Association to addressing the needs of the ever changing networking and communications marketplace.



SEMI is a global industry association serving companies that provide equipment, materials and services used to manufacture semiconductors, displays, nano-scaled structures, MEMS and related technologies.



The SMTA membership is an international network of professionals who build skills, share practical experience, and develop solutions in electronic assembly technologies, including microsystems, emerging technologies, and related business operations.



VITA is an incorporated, non-profit organization of vendors and users having a common market interest in real-time, modular embedded computing systems. Accredited as an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) developer and a submitter of Industry Trade Agreements to the IEC, the VITA Standards Organization provides its members with the ability to develop and to promote open technology standards.
